Washington, DC has many wonderful parks, monuments, and museums. Most of these are clustered together along the National Mall. But for the adventurous, there are many other National Parks in DC, including Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens. This park is far off the usual beaten path for tourists to DC. While this is best seen in peak of Water Lilly season, there is also a sobering starkness in this park
in the middle of the winter.
