I recently participated in a tour of the Washington National Cathedral where I was able to get up close to many of the gargoyles and grotesques surrounding the towers of the Cathedral. We climbed 333 steps, ducked through several small openings, walked on narrow walkways, to see these and so much more (other posts will show some of the other things I saw). Owls, a penguin with a fish, Darth Vader, War and Peace, and many different Angels. These are only a few of the creatures I found.
